In line with its commitment to blending theoretical learning with practical industry exposure, the Nigerian Universities Engineering Students Association (NUESA) ADUSTECH Chapter, under the visionary leadership of the SS Hamza Administration, has officially announced an upcoming educational field trip.
Scheduled for the 16th of August, 2026, the excursion is designed to expose engineering students to large-scale, real-world industrial and mechanical processes.
Destinations:
Gerawa Rice Mill, Kano: Students will tour this state-of-the-art, 420-metric-ton-per-day facility. It provides a perfect case study for students in Mechanical, Electrical, and Agricultural Engineering to observe modern automated processing, machine maintenance, and industrial-scale production line management.
Minjibir Park: Following the industrial tour, students will head to Minjibir Park for a well-deserved period of relaxation, team building, and networking.
Transportation & Payment Details:
To ensure a smooth logistics process, the administration has outlined the following payment structure:
Standard Transportation Fee: A mandatory fee of ₦3,000 applies to all students who are not purchasing the official excursion T-shirt.
